Kamura Regains Fitness As Six Others Are Ruled Out For Wazito’s Match

Six AFC Leopards players have been ruled out of Sunday’s Gotv Shield quarterfinal match against National Super League side Wazito FC. Leopards will be battling out for a semifinal spot with the NSL side at the Nyayo Stadium from 15:15.

Keziron Kizito has a fractured metatarsal while Marcus Abwao has an torn meniscus which requires surgery. Centre back Joshua Mawira has a knee injury he’ll need an MRI scan as well as Abdallah Salim who’s ankle is injured.

Alfred Wekesa is still out on rehabilitation after undergoing an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery last year. Vincent Oburu is also out on rehabilitation after a groin injury kept him out of Ingwe’s last KPL match against Bandari FC.

Robinson Kamura has however fully recovered after missing the last three matches and will be available for selection. Also available is midfielder Allan Kateregga.
