Afraha Double-header To Be Aired Live On Bamba Sports

The Afraha Stadium will host two Kenyan Premier League matches on Sunday August 6, 2017 with both matches being aired live on Bamba Sports.

Sofapaka vs Thika United

The first match will see Sofapaka lock horns with Thika United from 14:00 as both teams seek a good run after their respective wins on Wednesday August 2.

Sofapaka are currently placed 5th on the table standings with 28 points and with a win on Sunday, they might engineer their way to the top four positions of the table.

Thika United on the other hand are in 16th place with 17 points and a win over Batoto Ba Mungu might just be the result they need to get themselves out of the relegation zone.

In the first leg, the two teams faced off on Saturday July 15 at the Thika Sub-County Stadium where they settled for a 0-0 draw at full time.

AFC Leopards vs Bandari

AFC Leopards will then play hosts to Bandari FC in the second match of the day at the same venue in a match expected to kick off at 16:15.

Leopards are currently 13th on the log with 20 points and played out to a 1-1 draw with Western Stima in their last league assignment on Wednesday August 2 in Kisumu.

Bandari on their part are placed 7th on the table with 26 points, just two points adrift 5th placed Sofapaka. A win over Ingwe will therefore help them hugely in improving their table rankings.

In the first leg, the two teams clashed on Saturday July 15 at the Mbaraki Stadium where Marcellus Ingotsi’s injury time goal lifted Leopards over the Dockers.
