The MVP award for this year’s National Secondary School Ball Games has gone to James Mazembe of Kakamega High School.
This is after Mazembe displaying glittering performances in the five matches that the Green Commandos were involved in before being bundled out in the semifinals by eventual winners Upper Hill. Apart from Zoo Kericho, the winger is also a member of the Kenya U-20 national team.
In the girls’ category, Wiyeta’s Martha Amunyolete went home with the MVP’s award. The recognition is a major boost to the youngster who is part of the Harambee Starlets camp that commence training on Sunday July 9th ahead of their U20 World Cup qualifier against Botswana.
