Watford skipper Troy Deeney has received a four match ban following his sending off last weekend against Huddersfield Town.
David Wagner’s side made the trip to Vicarage Road for the tie last weekend and Marco Silva’s side went down four one on the day.
The 29 year old was shown a straight red card for a lunge on Colin Quaner just after the half hour mark and by the end of the game Huddersfield had also seen a player sent from the pitch.
Watford appealed the decision but the Football Association rejected that appeal and Deeney will now miss games against Brighton, Leicester City, Swansea City and Manchester City before he comes back into contention.
Watford have now had four players sent off so far this season, the most in the top flight this campaign.
