Watford will continue missing the services of Younes Kaboul for the next 5-6 weeks due to a fractured metatarsal.
The 31-year old former Tottenham defender had initially been sidelined with a hamstring problem and has not featured since the victory at Southampton in early September, with Manager Marco Silva having once said that he should be back after the November international break.
Watford have however confirmed he recovered from his hamstring injury, only to fracture his metatarsal when training with the first-team five weeks ago and has since been operated on.
Kaboul joins Craig Cathcart in the recovery list, with the latter expected to rejoin training over the next few weeks after a similarly lengthy absence.
The team is currently ninth on the table standings and host Huddersfield Town on Saturday December 16 for their eighteenth match of the season.
