Upper Hill Held By St. Anthony’s As Ramisi Shine

Title favorites Upper Hill School were on Wednesday held to a 1-1 draw by St Anthony’s Boys Kitale in the ongoing Airtel Rising Stars National Secondary Schools Term Two B Games at Moi Nyeri Complex Primary School.

Philip Mayaka scored for St Anthony’s in the 5th minute before the goal being cancelled out by Upper Hill’s Washington Odoyo in the 25th minute. The two schools are now on four points each in Pool B.

In the same group, Coast representatives Ramisi High School beat Kanga 2-1 to record their first win of the tournament and condemn their opponents to a second successive loss.

Girls’ category

In the girl’s category, Kobala mixed scrapped past Olympic Mixed in a 1-0 win courtesy of Annet Matinde’s controversial strike in the 68th minute. They are now at the summit of Pool B with six points.

Ibinzo Girls were also winners on Wednesday after overcoming Nginda 2-1 in their second match of the tournament while Kwale Girls got a 6-0 embarrassing defeat in the hands of Wiyeta.
