Kariobangi Sharks FC are set to wind up their pre-season exercise with a well-organized tournament scheduled to run from 25th of January to 27th January 2018 at Utalii Grounds in Nairobi.

The tourney is in preparation for the upcoming 2018 Kenyan Premier League (KPL) season that gets underway on Sunday February 4, 2018.

The three-day contest has five other teams from the top tier league and the National Super League (NSL) namely Bandari FC, Mathare United FC, Thika United FC, KCB FC and Kibera Black Stars FC.

According to Sharks Chairman Robert Maoga, the tournament is a good avenue for head coach William Muluya to fully assess his side’s readiness for the work ahead.

Five matches are programmed to be played daily, with the hosts taking on Mathare United on Thursday at the Utalii Grounds from 11:00. They will then face Bandari FC five hours later at the same venue.
