Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has all but confirmed that he is not set for a move away from Anfield during this January transfer window following numerous speculations linking him with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Since joining Liverpool from AS Roma back in June for an initial £35 million, Salah has had a very bright start, scoring 23 goals in 27 fixtures across all competitions. The 25 year-old impressive displays saw him recently crowned African Player of the Year 2017.
“I have heard so many rumours that it doesn’t bother me anymore. They have treated me very well in Liverpool and at this moment, I belong to Liverpool and I am happy at Anfield,” Salah was quoted by Marca.
Reports linking Salah to Los Blancos come just days after teammate Phillipe Coutinho sealed a £142 million switch to Barcelona FC.
