Rugby Cranes Arrive On Thursday ahead of Elgon Cup encounter

The Simbas opponents in Saturday’s Elgon Cup/Rugby Africa encounter, Uganda, will arrive in the country on Thursday in readiness for the tie which will be held at RFUEA grounds on Saturday.

On 4 June 2016 at the Legends Rugby Club in Kampala, the Kenya Simbas  won 48-10 in a one-sided affair.
 
van Heerden Takes Charge Of Elgon Cup Clash

South African Jaco van Heerden will be the man in charge of the Elgon Cup return leg clash between Kenya  and Uganda in Nairobi on Saturday 30 July 2016. The 33 year old law graduate from the University of Pretoria is a member of the South African Referees Elite Panel and has previously officiated fixtures in the Currie Cup, Vodacom Cup and Super Rugby.

His assistants on the on the day will be Jerome Alabu from Botswana and Jacky Husselnmann from Namibia.

This tie also doubles up as a Rugby Africa Division 1A fixture.

Kenya will announce their match day squad on Thursday.
