Resolution Insurance, on Friday December 8, 2017, renewed their title sponsorship with the Impala Saracens to a tune of Ksh. 15,000,000 at the Impala Grounds, Ngong road.
The sponsorship will see the team benefit from medical insurance, training and game allowances for players that make the match day squad, winning bonuses, pre/post training, game meals and direct payment of stipends to the team management. This will in turn be a huge relief to the club in terms of reducing major financial burdens h, hence enabling them drive all its energy to the game.
Joining Resolution on board are Maisha Water, a product of Ketepa Tea Packers Limited whose sponsorship deal is worth Ksh. 1,000,000 and they will be the official water sponsor for Impala Rugby.
Speaking during the sponsorship renewal ceremony, Resolution Insurance Managing Director, Alice Mwai commended the boys for their stellar performance in the recent seasons, “We as Resolution Insurance are extremely proud of the strides that The Impala Rugby Club has made in the recent seasons. The team has shown its strength in the different tournaments held in the recent past such as Impala Floodlights, Kenya Cup, Kabeberi 7’s and the Erick Shirley Shield (ESS Tournament) amongst others. We have continued to make continuous improvements over the years. We will continue to support and enable the teams reach their ultimate success and remain at the top when it comes to matters rugby in Kenya”.
Mr. Albert M. Otochi, Ketepa Managing Director expressed his joy in partnering with Resolution to sponsor the team. “Rugby is indeed a very popular game that has put Kenya on the world map when it comes to matters sports. We are proud to come on board and be the official water sponsor for the club.” He said.
Impala Club chairman Mr. William Githinji applauded the team for their dedication and love for Rugby. “Rugby is an art nurtured by hard work and continuous dedication. Each and every player on the impala team has proven themselves through training hard, being a team player and putting their best into each and every game”.
Mr. Githinji further thanked Resolution Insurance for their faith and investment in the team and Kenyan rugby at large. “Rugby growth in Kenya will be delivered by committed players and engaged sponsors.
