Odoyo Optimistic Ahead Of The World Cricket League Championship Match Against Nepal

Kenya National Cricket team Coach, Thomas Odoyo, remains optimistic that Kenya will get a good result when they play two matches against Nepal on March 11 and 13 in the World Cricket League Championship (WCLC).

While his sentiments echoed previous ones by his star player  Irfan Karim, Odoyo insisted that he and his team are not leaving anything to chance.

“We have a good record against Nepal, We believe we have a chance to win the upcoming matches but we are not leaving anything to chance. We have stepped up our preparations to make sure we are absolutely ready for this tie.”  Said Odoyo.

Odoyo was speaking to Kenyanstar when he also revealed that the team to take on Nepal will be named on Friday the 24th of February before leaving for India for a 10 day training camp where they are expected to several test matches.

Nepal has in the meantime named a preliminary 24 man squad for the two matches against Kenya and will travel to New Delhi in India for three practice matches.
