Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Mathre United FC have announced the signing of Modern Coast midfielder Francis Omondi on a three-year deal.
Until his move to the Slum Boys, Omondi was a regular at Rangers who finished 14th overall in the National Super League (NSL) and is looking towards cementing his spot at his new club.
“I am happy to be here because this is a team that gives young players a chance to develop. It is a dream come true and I hope for a good start in my first season in the topflight,” said the holding midfielder.
Omondi becomes the second signing for Mathare who had earlier snapped former Kakamega High School goalkeeper Job Ochieng’ on a four year deal.
