With the English Premier League resuming this weekend, several clubs will be sweating over their players’ fitness levels after with eleven players already having suffered different injuries while on international duty.

The number might as well rise before the World Cup qualifiers are over.

Manchester United the most affected

Facing a tricky trip to Anfield for a match against rivals Liverpool, Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho will surely be aware of the injury concerns for Marouane Fellaini, Romelu Lukaku and Phil Jones. Lukaku, who has started life at Manchester United brightly with seven goals from seven Premier League games, was forced to miss training with Belgium on Monday with an ankle problem.
