Harambee Stars: Photos of team arrival in Bissau as Okumbi Praises Team Focus

 
The National team, Harambee Stars arrived  in Guinea Bissau on Monday afternoon and conducted their first training session at the Estadio 24 de Setembro  in the evening. Michael Olunga was the first foreign-based player to arrive while Victor Wanyama, Johanna Omollo and Arnold Origi  were expected to arrive late in the night. 

Zambian-based players  Jesse Were, David Owino and Anthony Akumu will arrive on Tuesday (today) morning while Brian Mandela Onyango will link up with team later in the afternoon.

Head coach Stanley Okumbi expressed his optimism on the team terming them sharp and focused. ” They are prepared and they are sharp… In this first training they look sharp and focused. And for an away game, that means we can pick a positive result.”
 
Kenya takes on Guinea Bissau on Wednesday in the AFCON qualifiers.
