EA School Games: Kenyan Participants Depart For Uganda

Kenyan schools that earned the privilege of representing the nation in this year’s Brookside East Africa Secondary School Games departed on Thursday morning for Uganda.

The competition comprising of all East African nations is scheduled to take place from August 19th-August 27th in Gulu, Uganda.

Kenya will be taking part in variety of sports such as soccer, volleyball, basketball, hockey, swimming rugby, athletics and indoor games for both boys’ and girls’ categories with an aim of lifting the team title as they have done in nine of the last ten years.

The games will be staged in Kaunda Grounds Hall, St Joseph Layibi and Sacred Heart Girls School in Gulu with a total of 720 contestants from 53 different schools representing the nation.
