The Kenya premier league continues this weekend with leaders Tusker playing away to fourth placed Ulinzi stars at the Afraha stadium from 3pm on Saturday in a potentially decisive match. While a defeat will send Ulinzi one step down the table for the second consecutive week, a win for them could mean a new team at the top of the Log.
Defending champions Gor-Mahia finished the first half on top of the league but lost three points through an IDCC ruling that left them in 4th position with 26 points. Gor Mahia have reportedly filed a second appeal at the Sports Dispute Tribunal but will in the meanwhile be entertained by Thika united at the Thika stadium.
Tusker are sitting pretty at the top of the KPL Log with 29 points out of 15 matches but will be aware that they needed a boardroom intervention to dock 3 points from Gor-Mahia who would have otherwise be occupying the top spot.
