Al-Nasr Sack Prandelli After A Series of Poor Performances

United Arab Emirates (UAE) side Al Nasr has confirmed parting ways with Italian manager Cesare Prandelli.

This is after a series of poor results which have seen the club drop to fourth in the Arabian Gulf League standings eleven points behind leaders Al Ain. Since becoming the head coach, the team has just managed five wins in twelve league games.

Prandelli was named manager of Al Nasr in May 2017 after resigning from Valencia where he had only overseen ten matches. Before the Valnecia job, the former midfielder was head coach at Galatasary.

Al-Nasr Sports Club has decided to sack Italian Cesare Prandelli as first team Coach,” the club confirmed on their official Twitter page.

First team training has been entrusted to Mr Ali Murad.
